HIGHLIGHTS OF BASIC TIGERS
Fast and Sophisticated Mathematical Functions
BASIC Tiger™ processes instructions much faster than conventional microcontrollers - up to 100,000 BASIC instructions/sec.
There is a huge library of 64-bit mathematical functions to handle real number operations. In addition there are functions to handle signal processing, bit manipulations and graphics drawing.
Flexible and Expandable Input/Output Channels
The BASIC-Tiger™ possesses 24 to 38 universal I/O lines already in the
module, which can be extended almost without limit. The XPort system of the
Tiger supports expansion up to 4096 I/Os and if needed a multitude of Tiger
computers can be connected to an array of processors.
Fitted for use with the BASIC-Tiger™ computer modules there are I/O
expansion modules available as well as a Euro-Board system for flexible and
cost-effective assembly of industrial control applications with standard
components.
Multitasking OS
BASIC Tiger™ embedded operating system (OS) eases the burden of
programming with multitasking. Upto 32 user tasks can be created to handle
functions of different requirements and devices. This feature enables
programs to respond in a deterministic way even in case of peripheral
failures. There are mechanisms to
stop, re-start, debug and prioritize tasks.
A Fully
Integrated Development Environment
There are several development kits for quick starting and shortest
development times. Hundreds of immediately understandable sample programs,
applications, device drivers and functions give your projects a real push.
Integrated Development Environment Tiger-BASIC™ 5.x comes complete with
Editor, Compiler, Downloader, Source-Level Debugger.
It is designed for Windows systems Win98 or above.
In addition, there are 70+ sample solutions for real-world
applications available in the web sites.
Wide Range of SRAM and FLASH Options
BASIC Tiger™ has a wide range of chips with different SRAM (32KB, 128KB, 512KB, 1MB, 2MB ) and Flash (512KB, 2MB, 4MB) configurations to provide the best price-performance ratio. |
