Lima Endüstriyel Bilgisayar (Lima Industrial Computer Ltd.), has been established in 1995 to develop and market industrial IT products. Lima provides a wide range of services comprising of: distributorship, system integration, development of customized soft-hardware, technical support and maintenance. Our region of operations is Turkey, its neighbors and Turkic Republics.

Lima’s current activities can be summarized under four groups:

1.     Marketing automation and industrial IT products:

The primary aim is to provide ruggedized automation and industrial computer equipment to be used reliably in harsh environment.

Lima is the Turkish distributor for Advantech  and Basic Tiger™, JK microsystems Inc. and Altec  products:

Advantech’s mission is to provide application ready, web enabled platforms for automation needs. The main product line comprises of; industrial workstations, panel PCs, single board computers, panel PC’s, motion control cards, digital-analog data acquisition and control modules, and WEB application devices. It also offers MS Win CE and XP Embedded based PC solutions. It is currently the number one supplier of industrial computing products in Taiwan and China.

Basic Tiger™ is a computer family embedded in a single chip, which is programmed with Basic. It has been designed and being manufactured by Wilke Technology. The chip has the capability to acquire and control digital and analog signals. Its expansion bus architecture enables to connect 4096 signals. Character and graphics LCD displays are directly connected to a Basic Tiger. Compact and ruggedized design, multitasking capability and flexible logical drivers enables Basic Tigers to be embedded in very different platforms within a very short development time.

 Altec products are mainly industrial solid-state disk products and accessories.

Lima also re-sells Symbol and PSC laser scanners and RF solutions, Zebra and Datamax thermal barcode printers.

2.     Delivering turn-key solutions

Lima delivers customized turn-key solutions such as quality control stations, warehouse automation, production monitoring, time-attendance, metering solutions and tailored soft-hardware components.

3.     Manufacturing Industrial Computers

Jaz Industrial Computer Family has been introduced in 1999 to offer cost effective and flexible products to the end users and system integrators. Currently there are two models; Model I without a display and II with a 10.4” TFT LCD.

4.      Technical Support and Software Development

The technical support department is experienced in maintaining and supporting large scaled LANs, office automation software and PC hardware.

Lima's software staff is experienced in IBM's UDB (Universal Data Base), Microsoft Windows (9X/NT/2000/CE) and Visual Studio environments. They are proficient in C, Java and Visual Basic.
